Brazilian Court Returns Land to Tribe

WASHINGTON, Jul 29 (OneWorld.net) - A Brazilian court recently ruled that cattle ranchers and colonists illegally occupying the indigenous Awá peoples' land in northern Brazil must leave in the next six months. The ruling is "a major victory" for the tribe, said an indigenous rights group.
