10.07.2007 Amnesty International ha diffuso oggi un appello per chiedere alle autorità iraniane di fermare la condanna a morte per lapidazione di Mokarrameh Ebrahimi, una donna iraniana di 43 anni, colpevole - secondo la Corte criminale della città di Takestan - di aver commesso adulterio. Il 5 luglio scorso è stato lapidato Ja'far Kiani, condannato per adulterio nello stesso caso. Dopo la denuncia del caso da parte degli attivisti iraniani di Stop Stoning Forever e in seguito alla mobilitazione internazionale il Presidente dell’autorità giudiziaria, l’Ayatollah Shahroudi, ha ordinato di bloccare temporaneamente l’esecuzione.
