29.01.2007 Marssi kohti valoa on alkanut Marokossa. Näin kutsutaan kampanjaa lukutaidottomuuden hävittämiseksi vuoteen 2015 mennessä. Haastetta riittää, sillä Marokon 30 miljoonasta asukkaasta 38 prosenttia ei osaa lukea. Äänestysikäisistä on lukutaitoa vailla peräti 68 prosenttia.

Will the involvement of Sudan's president add teeth to this ceasefire?
16.01.2007 Although ceasefires have failed time and again in the region, Refugees International has hailed the latest move toward peace, hoping that the personal involvement of Sudan's president in the talks would add pressure to both the government and rebel groups to comply.

Darfurtin konfliktia pakeneva perhe
