26.11.2007 The government has controversially retained Dr Tafataona Mahoso as the chairperson of the restructured state-controlled Media and Information Commission (MIC) which will look into the Associated Newspapers of Zimbabwe (ANZ) application to be duly licensed despite court findings on his bias against the publishing company.

20.11.2007 The chief executives of the Financial Gazette and Zimind Publishers Jacob Chisese and Raphael Khumalo respectively, were arrested for allegedly increasing cover prices without the approval of the National Incomes and Pricing Commission.
