Zimbabwen ammattiyhdistysliikkeen johtoa ja kymmeniä aktiiveja vastaan nostetut syytteet on peruttava ja ay-liikkeen vaino lopetettava, vaatii ay-liikkeen suurin kansainvälinen kattojärjestö VAKL presidentti Robert Mugabelle osoittamassaan kirjeessä. Zimbabwen ammatillisen keskusjärjestön ZCTU:n johto toipuu parhaillaan sairaalassa vammoista, joita se sai poliisin pidätysselleissä 13. syyskuuta tehtyjen joukkopidätysten yhteydessä.
