The Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (AIPPA) of Zimbabwe is increasingly being cited in issues involving media freedom violations in Zimbabwe. In the latest incident, Dr Sikhanyiso Ndlovu , the Minister of Information and Publicity, has threatened to sue The Financial Gazette in terms of the repressive AIPPA Act.
