WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb 11 (OneWorld) - Terror victims are being denied sanctuary under U.S. counter-terrorism laws even as next year's federal budget threatens to push ever greater numbers to seek safe haven in the first place, refugee advocates said this week.

Actions against TOTAL Oil will take place in at least 15 countries tody, as protesters press the company to get out of Myanmar (Burma). The London demonstration will be at the oil giant's HQ in the UK at 33 Cavendish Square, W1 at 12.30.

This Friday campaigners around the world are taking action against TOTAL Oil, the fourth largest oil company in the world, for continuing to carry out business with Burma’s dictatorship. The UK demo is at 12.30pm outside the company’s head office at 33 Cavendish Square, London, W1G OPW.
