Greenpeacen selvityksen (engl.) mukaan maailmassa kuitenkin katoaa edelleen miljoonia tonneja elektronista jätettä vuosittain. Euroopan unionissa jopa 75 prosenttia romusta joutuu hukkaan.

The findings say that the company is responsible for contributing to further depletion of community water resources in already water scarce regions. It says at least one of the bottling plants should be either closed or relocated.

18.02.2008 Per il terzo anniversario del Protocollo di Kyoto, Legambiente si è data appuntamento sabato scorso a Saline Joniche (Reggio Calabria) per la 'Giornata annuale di mobilitazione nazionale contro l’uso del carbone nelle centrali termoelettriche'. E nel suo dossier "No al carbone" riporta come le centrali a carbone italiane nel 2006 hanno emesso 42,2 milioni di tonnellate di CO2, il 30% delle emissioni del settore termoelettrico, per produrre solo il 14% dell'elettricità' nazionale. Da sabato scorso gli "elettricisti verdi" di Greenpeace stanno sostituendo lampadine incandescenti con lampadine a risparmio energetico: l'attività fa parte della campagna "Bando alle Incandescenti", lanciata lo scorso ottobre da Greenpeace per chiedere alle maggiori catene della grande distribuzione di rimuovere dai propri scaffali le lampade nemiche del clima. Il governo italiano ha già messo al bando le incandescenti a partire dal 2011.
