03.05.2008 Il 30 aprile si è svolta a Viterbo una iniziativa di informazione dei cittadini promossa dal comitato che si oppone all'aeroporto locale e s'impegna per la riduzione del trasporto aereo, in difesa della salute, dell'ambiente, della democrazia e dei diritti di tutti. E oggi, sabato 3 maggio, il comitato conto l’aeroporto promuove un incontro con i cittadini di Ciampino sul devastante impatto di un mega-aeroporto sulla salute, sull'ambiente e sulla qualità della vita. La trasmissione televisiva ‘Report’ del 27 aprile ha messo luce la mancanza di un’effettiva programmazione nella costruzione, dislocazione e ampliamento degli aeroporti italiani.

"L’Italia importa l’84% dei cavalli vivi movimentati nell’UE" - afferma la LAV che segnala come "i consumatori italiani non sono correttamente informati circa l’esatta provenienza di questa carne e sono invece spesso convinti di comprare carne di cavalli locali".
